We are looking for a motivated, energetic, and experienced freelance designer to join our fast-paced, fulfilling workplace during our busiest season of the year.

The Role

As part of our Valentine’s support team, you will be responsible for translating our "exquisite language of the heart" into stunning vase arrangements and hand-tied bouquets. We are looking for a creative professional who is passionate about floral design and takes immense pride in every arrangement that leaves the shop.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Designing unique, high-quality arrangements that meet our brand standards.
  2. Assisting with the essential prep and processing of premium flowers.
  3. Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.
  4. Following specific instructions and recipes from our Lead Designer.
  5. Working quickly and efficiently under the high-pressure environment of a holiday rush.

Requirements

  1. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional floral design experience.
  2. Holiday Expertise: Proven experience working in a high-volume retail floral environment during peak holiday shifts.
  3. Detail-Oriented: A commitment to producing work you are personally proud of, ensuring every petal is perfectly placed.
  4. Team Player: A positive attitude and the ability to collaborate effectively within a fast-moving team.
  5. Reliability: Reliable transportation to and from the boutique is required, especially if demand necessitates late evening work.
  6. Physicality: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs as required.
